I am Elder Levi Savage Pace, a representative of Jesus Christ.  I have been called to serve with all my heart, might, mind and strength my brothers and sisters in Uruguay.   To fulfill this calling well is the only desire of my heart.  Sure, I love my family, my friends, and my home town, but I love my Savior Jesus Christ more.  Will I miss my loved ones while I serve on the other side of the world for two years, you bet – so why leave my whole life behind for two years?  I feel I made promises even before this world was to brothers and sisters of mine that I would find them, that I would take them by the hand, and I would help them to remember the greatest truth of all: that God lives, that Jesus Christ died for our sins, and that through the great news of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ my brothers and sisters can be saved and return to live with our Father in Heaven again.   I promised I would find them, and with the help of my God I will.

    • Valeria, Good Question. lol I send my parents emails and letters and they post them on my blog. My father is actually typing this answer and I have no idea what he is saying but since he is my best friend and we share a brain, I’m all good. Please keep following my mission here and Merry Christmas.

I believe you and your companion must have been sent to La Boca to do tracting so you would never have to visit an area more destitute or poor while you served your mission. I enjoy reading of your experiences. Que l vaya bien, Grandpa
