Adios Elder Brough.

Hey sorry I didn’t write Yesterday This week is the week of changes so Preperation day is on Tuesday. So since elder Brough was going home i knew i was getting a new companion the question was who!! Lol It turns out i´m getting a Latino Comp named Elder Millan who is super cool from what i hear. He is pretty buff and is a great teacher. I will meet him tomorrow morning at six thirty. I am guessing my spanish is going to improve a whole lot over these next six weeks.

So we went by andrea our investigator´s house and it turns out that she went and talked to her catholic priest about talking to the missionaries, and guess what he said! I´m sorry your guess is probably wrong. He said thats great that your talking with the missionaries and that your learning about God. We should learn about God everytime we get the opprotunity but you dont need to be baptized. You are a catholic and have already been baptized a catholic and you dont need to be baptized again.. She told us that and said she was thankful for everything but was going to stop taking the lessons.. We tried telling her about authority and how important it is to be baptized by immersion by a priesthood holder who had permission from God to baptize, but i guess she just didnt get it…. But i do know one thing, She had five kids and they all love us, they think we are the coolest things ever to walk the planet and one day a missionary will knock on their door and they will let them in… or they will pick up the book of mormon that we gave them with all of our pics and remember  what the presence of the spirit felt like and  want to read.. All i know is that no effort is wasted on a mission.

When one door is closed another on is opened… we just  found an awesome woman named viviana.. we gave her the book of mormon and invited her to read 3rd nephi 11.. when she came back she had read it twice and took notes on it about all her thoughts!!! Lol it is way cool.

Ok so this has been the last week of elder broughs in uruguay.. so we figured there was nothing else to do than to call off the diet and go all out! Lol i spent so much money, I have been drinking about 3 liters of leche a day and lots of biscochos and chivitos. Lol and Saturday night we were having our big going home celebration where elder brough laid all his stuff he wasnt taking home out and we took turns claming items as our own… i got a hoodie, and sweet weightlifting t shirt and a tide pen..  then we bought 5 liters of ice cream EACH!! Lol i was kinda skeptical but elder brough was sure we´d be able to finish it.. we each got about half way done and then wanted to throw up.. we said we would never eat ice cream again, but of course as missionaries the next 3 meals consisted of ice cream! Lol.

Ok for those of you that want to stalk me on google earth (DAD) lol. I live on  the north east corner of  Avenida General Flores y Cno. Corrales in Montevideo. Its a tall building and i’m on the top floor. . but for those of you that want to write me  the address is. . . . . .

About Elder Levi Pace

I am currently serving a mission in Montevideo, Uruguay. I spend my time teaching about the restored gospel of Jesus Christ, and serving anyone I can find who needs help. I've waited a long time to do this, and there is nothing on earth I would rather be doing.
